[Youth looks up when he hears someone approaching in the snow, a very serious expression on his face. When he sees who it is, he relaxes a bit.]

I did not put up much of a fight. That was not youthful at all. [He accepts the help easily, aware that he needs it.] I did. I do not regret signing up for the Watch, though, and I do not see how this is not connected. ...Please. I am sorry if I get blood on your clothes. When. I do not think it is a matter of if.

[He blinks, surprised at being ordered to fight back.] I did! There were several! And they were all armed. Almost literally! They had blades for arms!

[Youth leans heavily on Bell, trying not to seem like he was so much.] I will not then. I will... [Losing track of what he'd been saying, he shakes his head.] I will walk.

Mm hm... [A side glance.] And I doubt I could carry you. [For a second, that makes him pause, but he lets it slide since he can't conjure up the memory that reminds him of.] We'll just have to take it slowly.

[Feels the grip change, marks it up to the possibility of another attack.] I will be. If they attack, do not feel bad about dropping me to face them. They are small, fast-moving, and grey. They blend into snow surprisingly well for not being white.

You are strong. But I am not very light. [Youth nods, trying not to nod too hard and wind up lightheaded.] That is fine. We will make it. And Rabbit is on his way, as well.
