Earth logic. The way we understand the world. We think in a different way than Qi--what I've been teaching you about metaphors doesn't quite work with her. Its almost like she speaks another language.

There's different types of metaphors. Some of them are fairly straightforward "A means B" and some of them are more complex. I mean I guess it's a simile. That's a special type of metaphor.

I don't think she means that though.

I think she means this is the TRUTH as she sees it.

Bell is my friend. But Bell is your friend. The way you see him is different from the way I see him. He's special to you in a way that he's not to me.

Simon is the Moon.

Well no a simile is a metaphor that uses "like" in it's comparison. The phrase "life is like a box of chocolates" is a simile.
