Sixteenth Lotus

I went looking for Shoanji earlier and cannot seem to find him. [There's a small spot from the pen resting on the page.] I do not suppose that anyone has seen him? It has been some time since he has written.

Will I need to be taller for this too? I was trying to learn about metaphor so I asked Dad if I could wear his pants while he was in them but he said that I am too short and that we will see when I am taller.
