If Youth was Lotus' father, though, then what about the mother? Stoneface wasn't much for romance at all, so it wasn't a problem, but even the thought of turning to one of the ladies of the night for purely logical purposes was enough to make him cringe. He just had to think of the small child of his memory, and the gentle woman of his dream, and that would dissuade him even if anybody got it into their mind to pursue anything.
Had Youth even considered that? It seemed almost... dishonest. Was it still cheating if you couldn't remember your own wife?]
