[There are a lot of spots on the page where his pen has rested as he tries to figure out what to write and how. Then his familiar handwriting starts.]

I do not know how to apologize since I still do not know what happened but I am sorry and I am back! And I would like to see everyone who wants to see me.

I have a brother now! It is not worth dying over. But now I have one, and I wanted one. So that is good at least.

I think that I need to figure out how to alter the direction of my kick in mid-air. Does anyone have suggestions?

[His son had a crush. Oh boy. What Youth knew about relationships could fit in a thimble, and what Bell knew about relationships was probably all pornographic, and that was completely and entirely wrong for Lotus. AND Sailormoon.] She is a very nice girl, very sweet. And very young...

[Lotus nodded at his father's question, and at Bell's mention, his eyes widen.] Maybe? That would make sense... though she did not look much like me or Dad.

[The flush to Lotus' cheeks darkens.] I know. It is not anything like you and Bell. I just think she is cute.

[It would imply more. Hence not really that much better. Maybe, if she didn't look much like Youth, she took after the mom--she would be lucky if she did.] Ah. Maybe not then.

[Bell shrugged, voice teasing. He didn't know much about puppy-love (aside from a fondness for canines), but Bell was what Genius called a shipper. Even if Youth was somewhat unsure about this crush, Bell had to encourage a ship.] Young now. Besides, sometimes cut is how it starts. After all, your dad is cute.

[Luckily it didn't feel that strong. When Crow had suggested Lotus was Youth's son, that had felt right. Shuriken being his daughter just didn't resound.] I... do not think she is.

Sailormoon is cute! And she learns well and works out often! [There were worse people to have crushes on, though he really did think Sailormoon was much too young. Youth was distracted from that train of thought by Bell's comment. Once again, Bell had taken him by surprise. That was twice in this conversation.] You think I am cute?
