Twenty-second Lotus - blooming twice

[There are a lot of spots on the page where his pen has rested as he tries to figure out what to write and how. Then his familiar handwriting starts.]

I do not know how to apologize since I still do not know what happened but I am sorry and I am back! And I would like to see everyone who wants to see me.

[There's more pen resting.]

I have a brother now! It is not worth dying over. But now I have one, and I wanted one. So that is good at least.

I think that I need to figure out how to alter the direction of my kick in mid-air. Does anyone have suggestions?

It's good to see your handwriting again, Youth. Welcome back!

Well, thank you. I'm actually working for the Guard now, though nothing much has happened yet. I suppose that's not a bad thing, really.

Perhaps I'll get to work with him sometime, then. And I agree--if things are busy for us, it's probably a bad day. But either way, I'm glad to see you're all right.

Also, forgive my nosiness, but I'm curious. I was told that when people come back they often forget things they had gained during their time here, but you seem to remember everyone, only having lost what caused your death in the first place. Is that normal, or did something else happen?

I guess that's true--it's not like you would know if you'd forgotten something. Well, welcome back anyway, and here's hoping all that matters is still intact.
